What is the design idea?
Lio Sasaba is designed not just with utility in mind, but with aesthetics. Lio Sasaba is meant be poetic in its use of metaphor, and lyrical in its phonology.
The phonology of Lio Sabaalè is inspired by West African languages such as Bambara/Mandinka/Jula, Akan, Yoruba, and Igbo. The sounds of Lio Sabalè are simple and easy to pronounce. There are no consonant clusters. There are no diphthongs. The only consonant that can come at the end of a word is –n. There is no stress or accent, so every syllable receives equal emphasis.
